Summer 2026 Work Permit Information
Summer High School Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm for walk-ins, otherwise by appointment. You are encouraged to call ahead since staff availability may change. 508-758-3745 x1612
When the High School office is closed, Work Permits can be obtained at the Tri-Town offices at the rear of the ORRJHS/HS building.

Work permits are available for 14 through 17-year-old residents of Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester. All teens under 18 years of age must complete a work permit application and obtain a work permit before starting a new job.
Walk-ins are permitted but appointments are encouraged. Please contact us via phone or email to set up an appointment to ensure someone is available.
- The student should have the employer complete the Promise of Employment section of the application form; have it signed by the parent/guardian/custodian of the student, and sign it as the minor student. Youth Permit Application
- Proof of age and school attendance are not required for ORRJHS or HS students. Students attending schools other than ORR should present proof of age and attendance.
-Any of the following: Real ID drivers license, birth certificate, baptismal certificate/ passport
- and most recent printout of grades from school portal. - Students 15 yrs or younger will also need a physician's signature.
- Students must be present when the application is presented with other documents to complete the process.
